Improve lives and advance your career with LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services. We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Chemistry and Hematology team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely interpretive and diagnostic specimen testing and reporting. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to patient well-being and better health outcomes.

This part-time role offers flexible shift work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance with up to 20 hours of scheduled shifts per week. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
  • Performing, interpreting, and releasing results while ensuring patient confidentiality
  • Identifying incidents and non-conformities, participating in corrective action plans, and driving continuous improvement
  • Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
  • Participating in problem-solving and workflow optimization

LifeLabs facilities offer opportunities to share knowledge in a collaborative environment, with 24-hour medical support and the ability to teach college and university student placements.

  • A college diploma or university degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
  • CMLTO registration
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills, including issue identification and follow-up
  • The ability to maintain strict standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality

Hiring Range: 32.93 - 44.36

The hiring range has been established, and the final salary recommendation will be determined based on experience, education, external market conditions, and internal equity.
