We are seeking a seasoned Sales Strategist to lead our hotel portfolio sales efforts in Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will drive revenue growth and market share expansion across our assigned hotels.

This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in managing multi-property hotel sales and marketing strategies. Your expertise in analyzing market trends, creating effective selling strategies, and developing high-performing sales teams is crucial to our success.

In this position, you will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion across our hotel portfolio in Canada.
  • Lead and manage a team of commercial associates to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to achieve their sales goals.
  • Analyze historical, current, and future market trends to create data-driven sales strategies that position our hotels competitively.
  • Hire, train, and orient new commercial associates to ensure they meet Crescent Hotels & Resorts' standards and expectations.
  • Measure and track performance, holding your team accountable for meeting sales targets.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies to achieve budgeted goals in all revenue areas.
  • Increase revenues and market share through optimal business mix strategies and efficient channel mix.
  • Provide effective communication on all levels, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in hotel sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing and supporting sales efforts for multiple hotels.
  • Lifestyle hotel experience.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Canada.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a team.
  • Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resources.

The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's or associate degree, preferably specializing in Hospitality, Sales, or equivalent experience. A competitive salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
