Sales Development Representative

Job Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for growing and developing sales and margins of MSI countertop products with fabricators and K&B's within an assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with current and potential customers within the territory
- Provide knowledge and training to customers on MSI products to ensure effective presentation and negotiation
- Understand product offerings, market competition, and positioning strategies
- Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for customer availability
- Consult with dealers on retail pricing, advertising, promotions, and ROI
- Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for customer orders
- Estimate delivery dates based on company schedules
- Review and analyze sales reports to identify sales potential
- Utilize marketing tools to broaden reach and promote products
- Research and analyze customer needs and demands
- Investigate and resolve customer claims and problems
- Attend trade shows as required
- Travel 40-80% locally, nationally, and internationally
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Two plus years of experience in channel distribution sales
- Minimum two years of related industry experience in natural stone, slab, or hard flooring
- Minimum two years of outside B2B sales experience
- Strong math skills and ability to determine solutions for customers
- Results-oriented with ability to work independently and within a team
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in countertop, distribution, and building materials sales
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and people skills
- Confidence and motivation to work towards targets
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well alone or within a team
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
- Resilience to deal with customers who turn down opportunities
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
