About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dealer Relations Support Manager to join our team at Canadian Tire Corporation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting our Training Dealers in achieving their financial and store plan objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Training Dealers to drive sales and profitability in their assigned locations.
  • Manage the ongoing administration of the Supplementary Contract for Training Dealers.
  • Collaborate with internal field teams to provide support to Training Dealers.
  • Provide operational expertise in various aspects of store operations.
  • Work closely with Dealer Selection and Development to recommend candidates for the selection process.
  • Develop operational training tools and best practices for Training Dealers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Canadian Tire retail experience at General Manager or Senior Leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Tire store operations, including logistics, retail merchandising, and automotive service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Experience coaching and influencing others.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data.
  • Ability to coach and train individuals and groups.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak French.
  • Post-Secondary Education (University or College degree), an asset.
  • Specific technical and professional knowledge and skills required: Frontier, Microsoft Suite, and Costar.
