Pharmacy Assistant

Brukar Pharmacy Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy services. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceutical products, as well as maintaining inventories and processing claims.
Key Responsibilities:- Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
- Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
- Process claims, including health insurance and workers' compensation
- Collect statistics and perform general clerical duties
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
- Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
- Order supplies and equipment
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Assist healthcare professionals
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- Experience an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
