About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Brukar Pharmacy Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies to meet the needs of our pharmacy.
  • Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments.
  • Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation.
  • Collect and analyze statistics to inform business decisions.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling.
  • Manage routine office functions, including ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience in a pharmacy or related field is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment
