Job Overview

This is a part-time weekend security position at various data centres across the GTA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response. Prior experience in customer service or security roles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform access control duties, verifying visitors on-site and screening client employees and contractors using handheld metal detection devices.
  • De-escalate situations where individuals may decline screening or deny access, notifying shift supervisors of any incidents that require assistance.
  • Be available for on-call shifts and respond promptly to coverage requests.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment within the campus setting.
  • Follow established security breach procedures, notifying supervisors or appropriate personnel when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Thorough knowledge of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
  • 3 years of security experience or 5 years of customer service experience with direct customer-facing interaction
  • Eligibility for reliability clearances required for data centre positions
Salary and Benefits
