S.i. Systèmes is seeking a skilled Physical Security Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Description:

The Physical Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, vendors, and assets as required. This includes reporting and triaging security related incidents, monitoring threats, evaluating results, and ensuring the overall department goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and identify potential threats to TD Bank personnel, facilities, operations, and reputation
  • Write detailed reports on critical incident escalation
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with risk functions to develop and document policies, procedures, and controls for department processes
  • Coordinate security guards as needed
  • Actively monitor and facilitate the occurrence of security-related incidents
  • Evaluate threats based on incoming data and make informed decisions
  • Participate in Physical Security projects, including technology implementation and video monitoring
  • Respond to security operations notifications and requests from internal and external parties

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a call centre, central station alarm monitoring, dispatch operation, or similar environment
  • Ability to work within a 24-hour department
  • Shift work experience in a 24-hour operation preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills; call centre/phone experience preferred
  • Strong documentation, investigative, and report writing skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC-based programs

Salary: $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience
