Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Bilingual IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, helpdesk services, and perform basic troubleshooting tasks for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and helpdesk services to end-users.
  2. Install and configure Microsoft Office applications.
  3. Perform memory upgrades and other hardware installations.
  4. Conduct basic troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.
  5. Respond to and resolve Level 1 technical support tickets.
  6. Document and track issues in the ticketing system.
  7. Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts and profiles.
  8. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  9. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
  2. Proven experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  3. Proficiency in installing and configuring Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Basic understanding of hardware components and memory upgrades.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication skills in both English and French are required for this role (can be French-only).
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. of computer equipment as needed.
  2. Ability to work onsite, daily.
