Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Sales and Customer Service Specialist to join our team in North Eastern Ontario. This role is responsible for achieving and exceeding area sales and customer 'point of sale' (POS) targets through the promotion, service, and sale of company products and programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships by providing exceptional service, including sales and merchandising tactics that improve productivity, product knowledge, and selling sessions.">
  • Grow the business by increasing listings and gaining shelf/off-shelf space for new and existing products at new and existing home centre locations.">
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as customer orders, credits, technical assistance, marketing information, and warehouse materials.">
  • Communicate accomplishments, threats, opportunities, and related issues in a timely fashion to management.">
  • Participate in special projects, including new store set-ups, overnight resets, tradeshows, and weekend events as required.">
  • Assist in the development and set-up of product line and customer-specific plan-o-grams.">
  • Standard and ad-hoc reporting as required.">
  • Heavy lifting and climbing tall ladders to down stock.">

Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, or marketing is preferred or equivalent.">
  • Valid driver's license issued by the province in which you are working.">
  • 2-5 years of in-store merchandising service or outside sales experience.">
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).">
  • Self-starting individual with excellent time management skills.">
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and presentation skills.">
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude and honed interpersonal skills.">
  • A proven track record of superior customer service and sales accomplishment.">
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating high levels of honesty and integrity.">

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
