Cygnus Design Group is a leading wayfinding and environmental graphic design firm with a strong presence across Canada. We're seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to lead the implementation of our wayfinding and design projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage project communication, responding to client and vendor inquiries, issuing site instructions, change notices, and coordinating RFIs.
  • Oversee sample and shop drawing reviews, attend site meetings, and conduct thorough deficiency assessments.
  • Contribute to accurate project budgeting and estimating throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Conduct site and needs assessments to inform project implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with construction, architectural, and consultant teams, as well as internal Cygnus staff, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a construction project management role or working with multi-consultant design teams.
  • Degree/diploma from a recognized university or college in graphic design, interior design, industrial design, architecture, or a related design field.
  • Direct experience or formal training in the signage & wayfinding industry is preferred.
  • Strong eye for visual and industrial design, creative problem-solving, and an appreciation for exceptional user experiences.
  • Exemplary project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Mac OS, G Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with Autocad, BIM, and construction management software would be a significant advantage.
What We Offer:
  • $55,000 - $75,000 CAD (commensurate with experience)
  • Supplementary health and dental benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
