**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Full-time Host at Canoe Restaurant & Bar. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to the success of our restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage guest flow by effectively communicating with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure seamless transitions and timely seating.
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant with a warm and welcoming presence, either in person or over the phone, even during peak periods.
  • Accurately take reservations and escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation to create a memorable experience.
  • Maintain a detailed and organized approach to managing the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas, ensuring they are fully stocked and clutter-free.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • High attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and guests alike.
  • Evening availability required, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
