Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Maintenance Worker to join our team at Synergy Systems. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Apartment Preparation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Seasonal Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participate in awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program that supports newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Assist with immediate transition needs of Veterans.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provide workspace accommodations to meet the physical needs of mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
Work Environment

Work in all weather conditions at an apartment/condominium complex.

Work Language

English.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
