Hotel Guest Services Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Clean and Attractive Guestrooms - Ensure that all guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
- Focus on Details - Pay close attention to details to ensure that all aspects of the room are clean and in order, including windows, towels, supplies, closets, and hangers.
- Be Organized - Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping closet and cart area to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
- Work as a Team Player - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals, provide training and support to new staff members, and participate in department events.
- Provide Excellent Guest Service - Greet guests warmly and provide a positive experience by ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
- Ensure Safety and Security - Follow established safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Basic English Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Physical Abilities - Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels, and stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
- Multi-Tasking - Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
