Job Title: Academic Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to teach a course at Ontario Tech University. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction and a passion for teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a course that meets the needs of students and aligns with the university's academic goals
  • Prepare and grade all course materials and assignments
  • Provide feedback to students and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner
  • Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate new ideas and technologies into the course
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to achieve academic goals

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field of study
  • PhD is an asset
  • Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in an Ontario pre-service teacher education program
  • Experience working with digital technologies in the classroom
  • Experience teaching in a virtual environment
