The Senior Information Governance Strategist will play a key role in supporting the Enterprise Data and Information Governance Program and the Senior Manager. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive information governance framework, strategies, policies, and processes to ensure accuracy, availability, integrity, and standardization of information and analytics assets while complying with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

About the Role

This senior-level position requires a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of information management and governance principles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing information governance frameworks, strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure information governance initiatives align with business requirements and strategic goals
  • Defining information stewardship and access policies to ensure compliance with relevant privacy regulations
  • Leading efforts to develop and maintain information management strategies, including metadata management, data quality processes, and information delivery
  • Implementing information governance tools and systems, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality tools
What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A master's degree in information management, health informatics, engineering, computer science, or a recognized equivalent
  • At least seven years of overall working experience, with a minimum of two years in an information and data governance or data management role
  • Experience leading or supporting change management or strategic data initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of information governance principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge of data manipulation, data management, and business intelligence concepts and tools
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
