About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Quinte Immigration Services. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as calculating fixed assets and depreciation, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Office, as well as Sage Accounting Software.
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, team player, and strong time management skills.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.

  • Other Benefits: Temporary employment with 37.5 hours per week.
