We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Strategic Business Leader, reporting directly to our award-winning Chief Executive Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of end-of-life services and funeral plans, with a national network of 675 funeral branches, 46 crematoria, and 28 cemeteries.

About the Role

As a Strategic Business Leader, you will be responsible for developing and delivering pricing strategies across all business verticals, collaborating with senior leadership to define business goals, market opportunities, and competitive positioning. You will also conduct market analysis and trend forecasting to identify risks and opportunities, oversee the creation of strategic roadmaps and business plans, and implement performance measurement frameworks (KPIs) to track strategic progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver pricing strategies across all business verticals
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define business goals, market opportunities, and competitive positioning
  • Conduct market analysis and trend forecasting to identify risks and opportunities
  • Oversee the creation of strategic roadmaps and business plans
  • Implement performance measurement frameworks (KPIs) to track strategic progress
  • Align departmental performance targets with corporate strategy
  • Provide performance updates to the executive team and board, highlighting key insights
  • Lead post-performance analysis to optimise initiatives
