Job Summary

The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment in the field operations of Accoravillage. This position will be responsible for implementing and enforcing HSE policies and procedures, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing training and guidance to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations management and employees to ensure HSE practices are integrated into daily operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay informed on HSE best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Valid 1st Aid certificate
  • Valid H2S certificate
  • 3-5+ years of drilling/service rig industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of rig operations and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Accoravillage's Policies, Practices, and HSE Program
  • Working knowledge of regional regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office and Global Risk Management System software
Preferred Qualifications
  • A valid Driver's License with ability to travel to various locations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor others, building confidence and accountability
