Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Annual Budgeting Process: Partner with leaders across the business to evaluate investment and resourcing needs to support the growth of the business.
  • Manage Budget Adjustments and Reallocations: Maintain control over budgetary changes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and Manage Rolling Forecasts: Update financial projections based on current data and provide timely and accurate financial insights.
  • Analyze and Report Historical Financial Performance: Track and report historical financial performance relative to targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate Financial Insights and Recommendations: Clearly and effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Participate in Monthly Operations Meetings: Contribute to discussions on business strategy and performance, and provide financial expertise to inform business decisions.
  • Lead or Assist in the Creation of Ad Hoc Analyses: Develop and analyze business cases in support of new investment, strategic, and other business decisions.
  • Construct Models for Long-Term Forecasts: Develop and maintain models for long-term forecasts, ROI analyses, and initiative tracking.
  • Support the Accounting Team: Assist with expense analysis and control, and provide financial expertise to support the accounting team.
  • Lead Development and Production of Financial Reports: Develop and produce monthly, quarterly, and Board reporting packages, and ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Establish Rigorous Processes and Controls: Maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Lead and Mentor the Team: Provide guidance and support in their professional development, and lead the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative Field: A degree in a quantitative field of study, such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or relevant and proven experience.
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional qualifications such as CMA, CPA, or CFA are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience within an FP&A leadership capacity, with a strong understanding of Corporate Finance concepts and US GAAP.
  • Experience with Financial Planning Tools: Experience with financial planning tools, including Excel modeling skills and experience with large data sets.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to identify and communicate key findings from complex analysis.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot data challenges and maintain accurate financial information.
