Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Waterfront Inn and Pelican Tavern. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
- Select and Purchase Equipment and Supplies: Source and purchase necessary equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Plan and Coordinate Activities: Coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance.
- Conduct Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure Safety Standards: Ensure that all safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to these standards.
- Maintain Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that all necessary items are available.
- Coordinate Maintenance Services: Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure that all staff are meeting their performance goals.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
- Dependability: Be reliable and dependable, and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with all staff, guests, and vendors.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable, and able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Initiative: Take initiative and be proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Judgement: Use sound judgement and make informed decisions that align with the goals and objectives of the Waterfront Inn and Pelican Tavern.
