Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Waterfront Inn and Pelican Tavern. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
- Select and Purchase Equipment and Supplies: Source and purchase necessary equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Plan and Coordinate Activities: Schedule and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless operations.
- Inspect and Coordinate: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
- Supervise Staff: Lead and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
- Coordinate Maintenance and Repair Services: Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure minimal disruptions to our operations.
- Conduct Performance Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
- Maintain Inventory: Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate Laundry Services: Schedule and coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure timely and efficient processing.
- Schedule and Assign Duties: Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to Guest Complaints: Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that guest needs are met.
- Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in all aspects of your work.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and guests.

- 1 year to less than 2 years: Previous experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role is required.
