Retail Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at The Snack Shack, Chester's Chicken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, ordering merchandise, and establishing work schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Order merchandise
- Establish work schedules
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
Support for Indigenous People:
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
Work Environment:
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
