Lead Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lead Culinary Specialist to oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and staff training at La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing complete meals and individual dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare complex meals for customers with special dietary needs
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and a Safe Food Handling certificate. You should also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
