The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a banquet or restaurant culinary field and hold valid Food Safe certification. A diploma or certification in a culinary discipline is an asset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary starting at $20.42 per hour (80% of rate) with a midnight shift premium, increasing to $29.79 after 3 months. As a member of our kitchen team, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation. You will also maintain and order stocks and supplies, follow kitchen policies and procedures, and ensure all safety and sanitation protocols are followed when handling food and beverages.

Able to work cohesively as part of a team and focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous at all times, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights.

Constant standing and walking throughout shifts, frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps – physical stamina is essential for this position.
