About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in developing industry-leading audio and movie solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative audio and movie solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of audio and movie features.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code that is well-tested, maintainable, and easily readable.
  • Work closely with game teams to provide optimized audio systems and solve complex audio challenges.
  • Develop a broad range of features and capabilities, including mixing workflows, sound effect playback systems, DSP, content encoding/decoding, speech systems, interactive music, and video compression.
Qualifications
  • High level of proficiency in C++. C# is desirable but not required.
  • Experience developing, testing, and debugging code.
  • Advanced software development skills, including memory management, object-oriented design, multi-core utilization, and more.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Professional software development experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Professional or recreational experience with audio or movie software development.
  • Experience with Perforce, Confluence, JIRA.
  • Game industry experience, either with a central technology team or with a game studio.
