At Visier, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way organizations make decisions. As a Software Development Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in designing, coding, testing, and deploying innovative applications that elevate our customers' employees and drive better business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement application solutions that meet our customers' needs
  • Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides, system specifications, and troubleshooting guides
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users or identified through testing
  • Ensure seamless integration of new or modified applications with existing systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation
  • Manage project plans, including defining project scope, tasks, dependencies, and timelines
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, including identifying and mitigating risks
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure applications meet requirements and quality standards
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the application
  • Ensure client satisfaction by meeting their needs and expectations throughout the project and beyond
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration with colleagues
Requirements:
  • Academic qualifications in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Experience in application development, support, or a related field
  • Significant experience with ServiceNow
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages, software development tools, and relevant technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies
