Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Wholesaler Associate to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in developing new relationships and enhancing existing ones with insurance advisors in a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Consultants and Inside Sales Consultants to establish a strategic business plan for the territory with defined sales targets
  • Proactively contact insurance advisors to gain information and insight into their practices
  • Provide valuable advice and sales ideas related to the insurance industry and system training
  • Analyze and identify sales and cross-selling opportunities in RBC Insurance's block of business

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in French and English (oral and written)
  • Professional customer service skills and a talent for listening, establishing rapport, and finding the right solution
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of services (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) with above-average typing skills, internet, and computer navigation
  • Fluency in French and English to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs
