Customer Service Team Lead

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team of retail sales associates in a fast-paced Co-operative Retailing System environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of retail sales associates to provide legendary service to customers
- Assist with effectively managing the development and direction of team members
- Oversee sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for the department
- Provide training to gas bar clerks for all store duties and opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to Co-operative policies and government regulations
- Complete daily reports as required, including daily cash up and reconciliations
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized store environment
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- 3+ years of retail sales experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the Co-operative Retailing System
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and work with team members
- Experience with C-Store/Gas Bar operations and general merchandise items
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Point of Sale experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
