RT Medical is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Therapist with RT Medical, you will play a vital role in providing clinical professional practice to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychological, perceptual, cognitive, vocational, and functional status to identify areas for improvement.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving or restoring functional independence.
  • Adaptive Equipment Recommendations: Provide suggestions for adaptive equipment to support patients who require assistance.
  • Environmental Modifications: Offer recommendations to facilitate safety and maximize function within patients' environments.
  • Functional Independence: Help patients who struggle with functional independence in areas such as self-care, productivity, and leisure to maximize their quality of life.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Registration: Registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Skills: Strong skills in technology, including experience with various EMRs and Microsoft Teams. Ability to work in unique, fast-paced environments. Good knowledge of OT theory and practice. Excellent interpersonal and listening communication, and teamwork skills. Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational, and decision-making skills. High adaptability capacity.
