About the Role
The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the routine and preventative maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment at DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in breakdown situations, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Conduct equipment installations and modifications as required, working effectively with other trades groups
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to prioritize and complete project assignments
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical maintenance and repair
Requirements
- Licenced Electrician with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with process and high-speed packaging equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including PLC and HMI programming
- Excellent trouble-shooting and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with other departments and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality
