We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Protection Specialist to join our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD) to render environmental protection and performance aspects for refinery and gas plants.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from a recognized university/college and an approved program. A minimum of 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector is required, particularly in Refining, Chemical, and/or NGL Fractionation Processes. Additionally, at least 7 years of experience in a direct environmental management role for a refinery or gas plants is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO-14001
  • Ensure and improve compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards
  • Implement corporate environmental programs and procedures
  • Enhance facilities' environmental performance and business plan development
  • Develop, review, and implement GHG management program including GHG data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Conduct internal GHG assurance audits and provide support in the preparation of facilities' GHG third-party audits

This role requires relocation to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cost engineering expertise and coordinating activities as a group/unit. They will also be responsible for conducting regular environmental performance monitoring and reporting analysis, ensuring facility operating and business plans objectives are consistent and in line with company environmental protection policies and standards.
