This role is a critical part of our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Our company specializes in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas.

Company Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team to provide environmental protection and performance aspects for refinery and gas plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO-14001, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and standards, implementing corporate environmental programs and procedures, and enhancing facilities' environmental performance and business plan development.

Job Description

The Environmental Engineer will:

  • Implement cost engineering expertise and coordinate activities as a group/unit.
  • Conduct regular environmental performance monitoring and reporting analysis.
  • Ensure facility operating and business plans objectives are consistent and in line with company environmental protection policies and standards.
  • Identify deviations and develop solutions to mitigate environmental risk and improve environmental compliance.
  • Develop, review, and implement GHG management program including GHG data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Conduct internal GHG assurance audits and provide support in the preparation of facilities' GHG third-party audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from a recognized university/college and an approved program. A minimum of 12 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector is required, particularly in Refining, Chemical, and/or NGL Fractionation Processes. Additionally, at least 7 years of experience in a direct environmental management role for a refinery or gas plants is necessary.
