About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of caregivers at Spark Lifecare. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse group of individuals seeking Speech-Language Pathology services in the City of Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment services for clients with cognitive-communication disorders, speech intelligibility challenges, and communication skills related to various needs and challenges.
  • Work with clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Complex Medical Diagnoses, Voice and Fluency issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Developmental Delays.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
Requirements
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Experience providing SLP assessment and treatment in a community setting.
  • Bilingualism, preferred but not required.
