Role Overview

We're looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a varied caseload of clients, including those with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Complex Medical Diagnoses, Voice and Fluency issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Developmental Delays. As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Spark Lifecare, you'll have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment services for cognitive-communication disorders, speech intelligibility challenges, and communication skills related to various needs and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and treatment services for clients with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

  • Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
  • Experience providing SLP assessment and treatment in a community setting
  • Bilingualism, preferred but not required
