Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of caregivers at Spark Lifecare. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with a diverse group of individuals seeking Speech-Language Pathology services in the City of Ottawa and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Our clients include individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Complex Medical Diagnoses, Voice and Fluency issues, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Developmental Delays. You will work with clients to assess and treat cognitive-communication disorders, speech intelligibility challenges, and communication skills related to various needs and challenges.

Requirements
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work independently as well as with a multidisciplinary team
  • Computer skills (i.e. ability to work in MS Word and Outlook)
  • Experience providing SLP assessment and treatment in a community setting
  • Bilingualism, preferred, but not required
