About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Kamal Landscaping & Gardening Ltd. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead and manage a team of grounds maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive grounds maintenance plans, including lawn care, tree service, and garden centre operations.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary labour and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate estimates and timely completion.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain all work-related data, including staff hours, materials used, and project progress.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Develop and manage contracts with clients, ensuring timely completion and satisfaction.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and understand blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure they meet our high standards.

Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Backhoe: Operate and maintain backhoes for excavation and landscaping tasks.
  • Front End Loader: Operate and maintain front end loaders for material handling and transportation.
