Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Fastfrate Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Identify sales prospects for further development and closure
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects
- Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Perform effective online demos to prospects
- Work with all departments through onboarding of secured business
- Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales
Requirements:
- Proven business development experience in the transportation industry (LTL sales)
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
- Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
- Effective teamwork skills
- Ability to effectively handle multiple conflicting priorities
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills
