We are currently seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Environmental Sustainability Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all on-site activities for construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing the quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Quality Management: Develop and implement environmental quality management plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Support quality control and quality assurance awareness and implementation within the environmental management plan.
  • Non-Conformance Reports: Close-out non-conformance reports for respective areas of responsibility.
  • Environmental Audits: Conduct regular environmental audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Environmental Reporting: Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
  • Training and Awareness: Train employees on environmental policies and procedures and raise awareness about environmental issues and sustainable practices within the organization.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and manage environmental incidents, such as spills or contamination, and develop corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with regulatory agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to address environmental concerns and maintain positive relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in management/QC, with a strong background in environmental management and/or planning and infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Certified as quality professionals from certifying bodies, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training Course. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and laws. Ability to develop and implement environmental policies and procedures. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Work Environment
