The Environmental Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation of environmental sustainability programs, data collection, monitoring, and validation of applicable environmental performance data, and key engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of data collection, monitoring, and validation of applicable environmental performance data from key suppliers to support client corporate reporting requirements.
  • Support the development of MSA deliverables and reports.
  • Execute simple analysis and provide recommendations on reporting.

Communication and Training:

  • Support development of environmental/sustainability engagement activities, including 'green' events and the expansion of client 'green teams.'
  • Support development of environmental compliance and sustainability training.

Program Development Support:

  • Support development and implementation of client sustainability initiatives/objectives and assist on strategic vision.
  • Support development of the BGIS Annual Environmental Plan.

Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary training in related areas.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel. Strong MS Word skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative skills, including documentation standards and project management.
  • Strong time management skills.
