We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Meat Processing Assistant at YORKSON BUTCHER SHOP INC.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the meat processing and packing process, ensuring high-quality products are produced.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
- Conduct regular quality checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet our standards.
- Collaborate with process control and machine operators to ensure smooth production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- No formal education is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to perform tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
- Availability to work 30-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
Our meat processing facility is a dynamic and physically demanding work environment. As a Meat Processing Assistant, you will be required to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
Language and Work Conditions- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
