About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at YORKSON BUTCHER SHOP INC. as a Meat Processing Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the processing and packing of meat products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure food safety and handling practices are followed at all times.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers.
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.

The work language is English.
