Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Booking and Entertainment Services Host. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing back-of-house services for all 3rd party clients, internal stakeholders, and live nation partnership stakeholders hosting at The Arena.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and artists, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Respond to general inquiries and serve as a point of contact for key third-party partners and service providers on show days.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and internal departments, ensuring open lines of communication.
  • Coordinate hospitality needs for artists and ensure all invoices/receipts for related expenditures are submitted for processing.
  • Keep internal departments and talent informed of detailed event requirements prior to and throughout the show day.
  • Ensure show hospitality estimates and all entertainment production documents are up to date in Tripleseat.
  • Assist in coordinating show setups and floor maps, and assist the Entertainment and Booking Manager with event management tasks.
  • Work on assigned show days to ensure smooth execution of events, primarily liaising with artists, clients, and event staff.
  • Ensure backstage and areas are set up, clean, and accessible, and organize the pickup and delivery of items as required.
  • Identify potential problems and flag them with the Venue Management team, negotiating solutions to meet the needs of internal stakeholders, 3rd party clients, and tours.
  • Uphold venue service standards and building rules and regulations while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including submitting show services reports and collecting and submitting reports from merchants.

Requirements

  • College or University Diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid full G driver's license required.
  • Smart Serve Certification or the ability to achieve it required.
  • Previous administration experience required, with previous experience in hospitality services and entertainment venues an asset.
  • Computer literacy, including efficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience working with event management software an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, with experience working with financials and budgets an asset.

Work Environment Considerations

  • Work within a 24/7 operation, with flexibility to work flexible hours when required.
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards, and position.
