Job Title: Recreational Therapist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Recreational Therapist to provide therapeutic recreation services to our clients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans and develop individualized recreation plans
  • Provide education to clients on health promotion, injury prevention, and management
  • Implement treatment plans through recreational activities and programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
  • 2 years of experience in therapeutic recreation or related field
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) designation
