Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Recreational Therapist to work with our clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in therapeutic recreation and be able to design and implement specialized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment plans and develop effective therapy programs.
- Implement treatment plans and provide individualized support to clients.
- Design and implement specialized therapy programs to meet the unique needs of clients.
- Lead and instruct groups, promoting socialization and skill-building.
- Supervise students in training and provide guidance and support.
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) designation.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- 2 years of experience in therapeutic recreation or a related field.
