Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Savormetrics. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations
    • Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
    • Coordinate and direct the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to management and other stakeholders.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration
    • Manage payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate and direct the preparation of payroll-related reports and documents.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including accounting and financial reporting risks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a controller or senior accounting role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Experience with accounting and financial software systems, including QuickBooks.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
