The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a skilled Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our Facilities Operations department, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Assist in the maintenance of school equipment and furniture, including report any issues or concerns to the Facilities Operations Manager.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the school.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a custodial or maintenance role an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
