Job Summary:

To contribute to the success of the Catering team by planning, producing, and delivering high-quality food offerings that meet the expectations of our guests. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for adding value to the efficient and profitable operation of the kitchen, aligning with the business and personal objectives of the team and the hotel.

About the Role:

You will work collaboratively with our friendly team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen, providing a consistently high-quality dining experience while maintaining sales, reputation, and profit targets as agreed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

You will be expected to be flexible and work in different areas as required, adhering to all health and safety protocols at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of high-quality dishes in accordance with our hotel offer.
  • Supervise the department when required, providing guidance to the Commis Chef.
  • Control stock and minimize wastage.
  • Comply with all food safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional chef qualifications: City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in professional cookery, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a professional kitchen, with a creative and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating flair and a good palate.
