Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Senior Financial Records Clerk to join our team at RUSH MORTGAGES INC. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including journals, ledgers, and other accounting documents.
  • Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies or errors.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial record-keeping, preferably in a mortgage industry setting.
  • Degree in Accounting or related field (not required but preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
