Location: Remote

Introduction: S I Systems is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Consultant to take on the role of BTP Lead. This role requires a blend of thought leadership and hands-on technical expertise in SAP BTP, aimed at driving innovative solutions and optimizing our enterprise technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on SAP BTP, guiding strategic decisions and project implementations.
  • Develop and implement solutions using SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Lead the design and development of applications using ABAP for RAP, or Java for CAP, and front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Manage BTP-related projects within a DevOps or Agile environment, promoting continuous improvement and rapid iteration.
  • Ensure integration of SAP BTP solutions with existing systems using RESTful APIs, OData Services, and protocols.
  • Oversee the administration of SAP BTP environments, enhancing system efficiency and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and functionality of BTP applications.

Requirements:

  • SAP BTP technical capabilities
  • Experience with Kyma, Cloud Foundry
  • ABAP for RAP, or Java for CAP
  • Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

Preferred Skills:

  • Clean core principles
  • SAP UI5 and/or Fiori Elements
  • DevOps and Agile methodologies
  • RESTful APIs, OData Services, and protocols
  • Application routers
